New Delhi: While recharging the mobile, many times the wrong number is recharged in haste. Even after the recharge is successful, it is immediately discovered that the money has been transferred to some other number. There is no need to panic in such a situation, but you should complain without any delay. Jio, Airtel and Vi have given different methods for complaints related to wrong recharge. However, keep in mind that it is not certain that you will get your money back for every wrong recharge. Refund depends on company rules and recharge status.
What to do if there is wrong recharge on Jio?
If you have recharged through MyJio App or Jio website, then in some cases it can be canceled. For normal plans, cancellation option can be available within 3 hours of successful recharge. For this, open MyJio App and go to Recharges & History. Here select the concerned recharge and click on Cancel Plan. If your recharge comes under the rules then the refund can be given through MyJio Store Credit or through the same payment mode.
Airtel users can complain like this
If recharge has been done on another Airtel number by mistake then it is important to complain immediately. Especially when data or calling has not been used after recharge on the wrong number. For this, open Airtel Thanks App and go to Help & Support section. After this, click on Facing issue with recent recharge and choose Wrong Recharge option and lodge complaint through chatbot.
You can complain through SMS in Vi
SMS is also an easy way for Vi users to complain about wrong recharge. You will have to send a message to 144 from your number within 24 hours of recharge. Write in SMS: WRR
If the problem is not resolved even after this, you can contact Vi customer care 199. At the same time, if the recharge has failed but the money has been deducted, it may take a few working days to get the amount back. Therefore, before recharging next time, check the number once. A little caution can save you from the trouble of money getting stuck.
