Rajasthan: The Bharatiya Janata Party registered its first victory in the Banswada Municipal Corporation elections before the polls. On the last day of withdrawal of nomination papers, Congress candidate Rekha Kansara from Ward No. 12 withdrew her nomination papers. After this, BJP candidate Sonia Vaishnav was elected unopposed. A wave of happiness spread among the BJP workers and supporters as soon as the news of victory came. After the BJP candidate’s unopposed victory, the ward witnessed a festive mood. Activists took out a victory procession in every street and celebrated by bursting firecrackers. Meanwhile, Sonia Vaishnav, who won unopposed, was also seen dancing with her supporters. Congress candidate Rekha Kansara of Ward No. 12 has withdrawn her nomination paper. After withdrawing his nomination, BJP has no other candidate in this ward.
