On July 12, 2024, the High Court Lucknow Bench had ordered the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Lucknow University to submit a short affidavit in this matter within two weeks, but Lviv had not submitted this affidavit to the High Court for the last 26 months. Anshu Chaudhary is the wife of Anitya Gaurav, Admission Incharge of Lviv and President of Lucknow University Teachers Association. Advocate Girish Tiwari told High Court Justice Pankaj Bhatia that due to high reach, Lucknow University has not been giving short affidavits to the High Court for the last 26 months. Her husband Anitya Gaurav holds more than half a dozen posts in Lucknow University including admission, evaluation of copies, provost of hostel.

Anitya Gaurav's own PhD thesis is in controversy and there are many discussions regarding his wrong promotion, but despite this, the then Vice Chancellor Alok Rai did not do any kind of investigation on him. Advocate Girish Tiwari, on behalf of the petitioner, told the court that after the complaint of Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav, a letter was sent from Raj Bhavan to Lucknow University, but the information about what investigation was done by Lucknow University in this matter and what report was sent to Raj Bhavan is not being given to them. Apart from this, Anshu Chaudhary's PhD, Creamy Layer Certificate of OBC, permission letter from Inter College regarding PhD etc. are not being provided to him.

Due to Anitya Gaurav's influence as Loota President, the petitioner is not able to get the response to the RTI being sought from Lucknow University. The court has said in its order that the petitioner's advocate has to inform the opposite party's advocates in writing about this order. The court said in its order that till now the counter affidavit has not been filed by the opposition/defendants. The court has given 4 weeks time to the opposition party to file counter affidavit. The case will be listed again for hearing after the counter affidavit of the opposition is filed/completion of four weeks period.
