New Delhi: 15-year-old Tanvi from Kota, Rajasthan died in AIIMS, Delhi in the early hours of Tuesday. Let us tell you, Tanvi had heart disease since birth and she was coming to AIIMS for treatment since the age of about two years. According to the information, he was admitted to the hospital about two weeks before his death. Tanvi's father Mukesh Pariyani says that the date for his daughter's surgery was fixed several times, but the operation could not be done. On August 18 also, a report regarding this matter had come out, in which the family had expressed their problems regarding the long-running treatment.

When was the disease discovered?

After being admitted to the hospital, doctors were examining the possibility of Tanvi's heart-lung transplant. According to AIIMS doctor Dr. V. Devagorou, Tanvi was diagnosed with VSD and pulmonary atresia in 2012. In 2013, an investigation was conducted regarding his surgery. After this, in 2018, doctors did not consider corrective surgery as the right option and his treatment was continued with medicines.

According to the doctor, on August 24, Tanvi was admitted for examination for heart-lung transplant. His endoscopy was also done on Monday. A few hours later, around 2:50 am on Tuesday, his health suddenly deteriorated. He felt weak and his body started turning blue. His oxygen level fell to 48 percent.

A little breath at 5:06 am

He was given oxygen around 3:30 in the morning, but after some time he suffered cardiac arrest due to lack of oxygen. Doctors tried their best to save him, but he died at 5:06 in the morning. Tanvi's father has sought answers to many questions from the hospital. He alleges that the hospital staff repeatedly asked him for documents and on some occasions even asked him to take leave from the hospital. Now he has demanded an investigation into his daughter's death. At present they have not even taken the daughter's body from the hospital.

The family has also raised questions as to why the operation was not carried out after being examined for surgery in 2013 and why the surgery was stopped in 2018. AIIMS has not yet given a detailed answer to these questions. However, the allegations made by the family have not been independently confirmed.
