Impenetrable security fort on 5253rd Shri Krishna Janmotsav, Janmabhoomi area divided into 8 zones and 35 sectors

Mathura: The police-administration has finalized the security arrangements for the 5253rd Shri Krishna Janmotsav to be held at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi at midnight on 4th September. In view of the huge crowd of devotees, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the surrounding area has been divided into 8 zones and 35 sectors. Adequate police force will be deployed along with police officers in each zone and sector.

Close supervision and guidance by senior officers

On Tuesday, ADG Agra SK Bhagat, DIG Shailesh Pandey and SSP Shlok Kumar along with heavy police force conducted intensive inspection of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex and surrounding areas. The officials took stock of the security arrangements, entry and exit routes of the devotees, crowd control and traffic arrangements and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials.

One-way route arrangement and deployment of PAC-RAF

Talking to the media, ADG Agra SK Bhagat said that in view of the possible huge crowd of devotees during Shri Krishna Janmotsav, like every year, this time also the one-way route system will be applicable. To keep the security arrangements strong, PAC and RAF companies have been deployed along with adequate number of police forces.

He said that a large number of devotees are likely to reach Mathura during the birth anniversary. In such a situation, the main objective of the police is to maintain security and not allow the devotees to face any kind of trouble. Providing easy and safe darshan will be the priority of the police.

Responsibilities and increased monitoring in zone-sector

The responsibilities of the officers have been decided by dividing the Janmabhoomi area into zones and sectors. Additional police force will be deployed at places under crowd pressure. Along with this, surveillance has been increased on the entry and exit routes. Security agencies have also been alerted to keep an eye on suspicious activities.

Traffic Control and Diversion System

During Shri Krishna Janmotsav, maintaining smooth traffic along with security arrangements will also be a big challenge for the police. In view of the crowd of devotees, vehicles will be operated on major routes under traffic control and diversion system. During the inspection, the officers instructed the policemen on duty to discharge their responsibilities with full vigilance. The police and administrative staff are claiming to be fully prepared to deal with any emergency during the birth anniversary.
