On Friday morning in Pokhara, Nepal, a car with Indian number went out of control and fell into a pond, due to which two people in the car died, while two others were injured.
According to the police, the accident took place on the road located at Garichoutara Ghumti in Pokhara. At around 4:50 am, the driver of the car going from Sedi towards Lakeside lost control, after which the car fell into Fevatal about 20 meters below the road. There were a total of four people in the car.
As soon as information about the incident was received, a team of 15 policemen led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Surya Bahadur Bogti from Wada Police Office Baidam and a 13-member team led by Assistant Police Inspector Sharan Khadka from Armed Guard Nepal No. 24 Headquarters Kalika Gana, Kaski reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
The rescue team pulled out alive 27-year-old Anmol Kumar Yadav and 33-year-old Suraj Yadav, residents of Raxaul, Bihar. Both were sent to Gandaki Medical College for treatment. According to Kaski Police, both are in a state of talking.
After this, at 5:55 am, two other people were taken out of the water of Fevatal in an unconscious state. They were taken to Pokhara Health Sciences Foundation, Paschimanchal Regional Hospital, where doctors declared both of them brought dead.
According to the police, among the deceased, 26-year-old Navdeep Kumar Yadav, a resident of Raxaul in Bihar, India, has been identified on the basis of his Aadhaar card. The age of the second deceased is said to be around 40 to 45 years, but his identity has not been established yet.
At around 6:20 am, a car with Indian number BR 05 DB 6759 was taken out from the water of Fevatal with the help of a crane. The car has been taken to Vada police office Baidam.
