Bihar number car fell into Phewa lake in Pokhara, Nepal, two Indian citizens died tragically and two were injured.


A major and heart-wrenching road accident has come to light in the early hours of Friday in Nepal's popular and beautiful tourist destination Pokhara, where an uncontrolled car filled with tourists fell directly into Phewa Lake. In this tragic accident, two Indian citizens of Bihar died due to drowning in water, while two other youths were seriously injured. This heart-wrenching incident has caused a wave of mourning in the native villages of the deceased and in the tourism department of Nepal. The local administration and police force reached the spot and immediately started relief and rescue operations, but the lives of two people could not be saved as the vehicle went deep into the water. One person identified in the accident, Navdeep Kumar Yadav of Raxaul died, the other deceased unknown. According to the official information received from Gandaki Province Police Office, this terrible accident happened on Friday morning at around 4:50 am. According to eyewitnesses and police, a speeding car was going from Sedi area towards Lakeside, when the driver completely lost control of the vehicle near Gauri Chautara turn in Pokhara-18 area. The uncontrolled car rolled straight down the road and fell into the Phewa lake filled with water. One of the two Indian nationals who lost their lives in this accident has been identified as 26-year-old Navdeep Kumar Yadav, a resident of Raxaul, a border town under East Champaran district of Bihar. At the same time, the identity of the second Indian citizen who lost his life in this accident has not been confirmed yet, and the police is making continuous efforts to identify him. Treatment of the injured is going on in Gandaki Medical College, the submerged car was pulled out of the lake with the help of a crane. During this horrific accident, two other Indian youths in the car were seriously injured, who have also been identified as 27-year-old Anmol Kumar Yadav and 33-year-old Suraj Yadav, residents of Raxaul. As soon as information about the accident was received, local police and emergency relief team reached the spot. The rescue teams made tireless efforts to safely take out both the injured from the damaged vehicle and admitted them to the nearby Gandaki Medical College for immediate treatment, where according to the doctors, the condition of both the injured is currently stable and their treatment is going on. At the same time, both the unconscious deceased were taken out of the water and immediately taken to Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, where the doctors declared them dead after examination. After this, with the help of a big crane, the administration pulled the accident car out of the water of Phewa Lake and took it to a safe place.
