Tragic accident in Kerala, car collides with lorry, 8 students died

Eight students traveling in a car died in a horrific road accident late Friday night in Kerala's Thrissur district. The accident occurred on the national highway at Panambikunnu near Kaipamangalam. According to the police, the car collided with a lorry parked on the roadside. The collision was so strong that all eight people in the car died on the spot.

Police informed about the accident on Saturday. According to initial information, the deceased are said to be students from the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu.

According to police, the accident occurred around 11.40 pm on Friday night. It was told that the youth's car collided with a lorry parked on the roadside. The car was badly damaged after the collision and all eight people in it lost their lives.

After receiving information about the accident, local people, police and fire and rescue teams reached the spot. The bodies trapped in the car were taken out by a relief and rescue operation. Police said that all the bodies have been sent to Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

According to the police, the car involved in the accident was registered in Tamil Nadu. Based on initial information, it is believed that all the people who lost their lives in the accident were residents of Tamil Nadu and were students.
