1. Longest bike ride – Since 1984, couple Emil and Lili Schmid have traveled more than 741,000 kilometers in more than 180 countries of the world on a single bike. This is considered to be the world’s longest and most consecutive unprecedented bike journey.
2. Longest bike ride in 24 hours– Valerio Boni, a rider from Italy, covered 1,232.5 kilometers on a closed track in a continuous 24-hour period. This is a unique world record for the longest distance covered on a bike in a single day.
3. The longest motorcycle in the world– India’s Bharat Singh Parmar made a record in the Guinness Book of Records by building a bike measuring 26.29 meters (86 feet 3 inches). In spite of such an immense length, he himself demonstrated this bike by riding it.

4. Longest bike riding under water– Homart Fontes cycled 3.2 kilometers continuously underwater at the bottom of a swimming pool with the help of a specially modified bike. This was a stunning world record for the longest underwater ride.
5. Fastest bike riding blindfolded–Blindfolded Mike Newman performed an amazing feat by riding his bike blindfolded at a speed of 143.6 kmph. This is the only record for riding a bike at such a high speed while being blind.

9. Most people ride on a single bike– A team of daredevils of the Indian Army successfully covered a distance of 1,200 meters with as many as 58 people on a single 500cc Royal Enfield bike. This disciplined and challenging record remains intact even today.
10. Longest wheelie on a bike – travel on the rear wheel– A rider from Japan, Yasuyuki Kudo, has covered 331 kilometers in a row with only the rear wheel of his bike on the ground. This is the world’s longest distance travel record on just one wheel.
