New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the centenary celebrations of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University. PM released a commemorative coin of Rs 100 on the occasion. After this PM Modi addressed the students. Modi said, even today in DU, when someone asks which college, saying SRCC is a big thing in itself. SRCC alumni have also been very special. If I may speak in your language, the alumni here are 'OGs'. As soon as Modi said this, the entire auditorium echoed with applause. In fact, today's youth, especially Gen-Z, colloquially say 'OG' to show respect to someone and it means original gangster.

Modi said that the alumni here have taken the name of SRCC across the world and have created their own identity in different fields. I have also got a chance to work with some of them. Our Arun Jaitley also studied here. I can say that perhaps there was never a single meeting of ours when he did not narrate some incident of SRCC. Sometimes I used to get fed up of narrating the same incident multiple times. Currently, Sanjeev Sanyal in my team is also studying from here. It is not that only people from the financial world have come out from here. Many artists, leaders and lawyers have emerged from here. That means the people of SRCC have made their mark in every field. It may not be 'Dhurandhar' but it has created a 'dhoom'. As soon as Modi said this, there was loud applause once again.

PM Modi traveled by metro to visit Shri Ram College of Commerce. During this, the Prime Minister met other passengers traveling in the metro. During the visit, the PM sat among the common people and talked to them. Modi also kept talking to the children traveling in the metro for a long time.
