Lucknow. A major change has been made in the system related to jobs and salaries of outsourced employees in Uttar Pradesh. The government has introduced a new system to protect the interests of about 3.5 lakh outsourced employees. Under this, an attempt has been made to stop the arbitrariness of companies and agencies.
There will be investigation before firing
In the new system, removing an outsourced employee will no longer be as easy as before. Arrangements have been made to investigate the matter before terminating the service of an employee. This will reduce the risk of losing the job without proper procedure.
Salary will be credited to account on time every month
Arrangements have been made to send salaries directly to the bank accounts of employees. The target has been set to deliver the salary into the account between 1st and 5th of the month. Apart from this, the contribution related to EPF and ESI of the employees will also be ensured in a systematic manner.
Service charge will not be deducted from salary
In the new system, there is also a ban on deducting service charge from the salaries of employees by outsourced agencies. With this, employees are expected to get full benefit of their fixed salary.
The family will also get security support
Under the new system, accident insurance facility is also being provided, which includes a cover of up to Rs 40 lakh. The government says that this will provide financial security to the employees as well as their families.
