Bhagalpur. Police has got a big success in Bhagalpur, Bihar. During the investigation operation, the police have seized a huge consignment of silver which was being brought to Bhagalpur by bus from Jharkhand. Let us tell you that the police have detained a minor in this case. The quantity of silver recovered is very high. Considering the sensitivity of this matter, the Income Tax Department has also been included in the investigation.

Success achieved during regular checking
According to information received from sources, this action was taken on Bhagalpur Dumka Road under Jagdishpur police station area of Bhagalpur. Keeping in mind the upcoming festivals and security, the police was doing intensive checking of the vehicles coming from Jharkhand. Meanwhile, when a bus coming from Dumka was stopped and searched, a huge amount of silver was recovered from a minor traveling in it. The minor could not present any valid documents or receipt related to this silver.
Information submitted to Income Tax Department
In this case, the police took immediate action and seized the consignment of silver and started interrogating the minor by taking him into custody. After finding such a large amount of unaccounted silver, the police immediately informed the Income Tax Department. Now the Income Tax Department team is deeply investigating the real owner of the silver, its source and where it was to be sent. Police suspect that this could be a case related to tax evasion.
