The first T20 match will be played on 13 September

The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and Afghanistan will be played on September 13 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. BCCI has announced the squad of Team India for this series, in which Ishan Kishan, Tilak Verma and young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi have been given place. In such a situation, these players will have to face a busy schedule.

Ishan Kishan said on this busy schedule, “Sometimes it becomes difficult when you are playing a Test match and suddenly you have to go and play big shots from the very first ball, and then suddenly you have to go back to your home team and play a completely different role. But at the same time, I think it is our job as professionals to adjust. We cannot come up with excuses after knowing that this is going to be your routine for the next few days.”

Tilak Verma also expressed his opinion regarding busy schedule

Tilak Verma, who is captaining the South Zone, believes that due to the experience of the last four months, he is fully prepared to play in any format. He says that due to playing in every kind of environment in domestic cricket, he has become habituated to adapt to any situation. He further said that it will definitely be a bit difficult to join the T-20 team immediately after playing a long five-day match, but after reaching Delhi, getting two days' rest and practice time will make the task much easier. Tilak is confident about how to keep his mind mentally prepared to play matches continuously.

Tilak Verma likes red-ball cricket

Expressing his love for red-ball cricket, Tilak Verma said, “I have always loved red-ball cricket. I had never even dreamed of playing white-ball (ODI and T20) cricket for India. It was God's will that I got a chance to play T20 and ODI matches for India, but my real strength is the red-ball game.”
