Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar, under the leadership of Area Officer City Randhir Mishra and under the direction of Inspector in-charge of Robertsganj police station Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Robertsganj police station has achieved significant success in the ongoing campaign for the arrest of wanted accused and exposure of crimes.
On the basis of the complaint of plaintiff Abha Devi wife Triloknath, resident of village Bahur, police station Robertsganj, district Sonbhadra, FIR No. 734/2026, registered at Robertsganj police station, in order to search and arrest the accused named in section 109(1), 191(2), 115(2), 352, 351(3) BNS*, dated. Village Bahuar by Police Station Robertsganj on 06.09.2026
The area was being patrolled and the wanted accused were being searched. Meanwhile, at around 02:30, the five named accused were arrested from Bahur-Basauli Mod Pulia and the ax used in the incident was recovered at the behest of the accused. The arrested accused are being presented before the court as per rules.
According to the complaint given by the plaintiff, on 31.08.2026 at around 06:00 pm, her brother-in-law Jogendra Mishra alias Lalu had gone to the grocery shop located in the village to buy goods. The named accused present at the shop reached a consensus and beat him with sticks. Hearing the noise, Vadini reached the spot and tried to save her brother-in-law, on which she was also beaten up.
It is alleged that after this the accused chased him till he reached his home, abused him and threatened to kill him. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered at Robertsganj police station and investigative proceedings were started.

Sunil Pathak son of late Maheshwari Prasad Pathak, age 40 years, resident of village Bahuar, Nilesh alias Rajan Pathak son of Nageshwar alias Bablu Pathak, age 32 years, Pankaj Tripathi alias Lippu son of late Janardan Prasad, age 40 years, resident of village Bahuar.
