Panchamrit recipe
First step- The main thing required to make Panchamrit is curd. You can use fresh curd stored at home or buy curd from the market. Keep in mind that curd should not be sour. Now blend the curd by stirring it lightly with a churner. If you want to make thin Panchamrit then add water as per your requirement in the curd.
Second step- Now chop dry fruits of your choice for Panchamrit. However, you can chop any dry fruit finely and mix it. But Chironji and roasted Makhana taste very good in Panchamrit. Be sure to put both these things in Panchamrit.
Third step- Now grind sugar and mix it in Panchamrit. If you want, you can also add boora. You have to add enough sugar so that the curd becomes sweet well. Now it is the turn to add five nectars to it.
Fourth step- Panchamrit is prepared from five nectars which include curd, milk, honey, Ganges water and ghee. Mix these things little by little in curd. Now add basil leaves in it and add chopped dry fruits.
Fifth step- To enhance the taste, mix half a teaspoon of cardamom powder in Panchamrit. This will smell very nice. Now when you offer Panchamrit or serve it to someone, add roasted makhana to it and serve it.
You can also add chopped ripe bananas to Panchamrit. You can eat this Panchamrit as is or by mixing it with Panjiri. Panchamrit and Panjiri are included in the offering to Kanha. You can also offer only Panchamrit.
