Honda Cars India is all set to launch the first major updated version of its popular mid-size SUV 'Elevate' in the Indian market. According to information, this new 'Honda Elevate Facelift' is likely to be launched in October 2026. Honda has taken this decision to compete with the growing competition in the mid-size SUV segment.
What will change in the exterior design??
There will be no major changes in the overall shape of the car, but some subtle changes will be made to keep the design fresh. New front and rear bumpers, as well as a grille based on Honda's new global design language. The tail-lamps are likely to get a change in lighting graphics and new design precision-cut alloy wheels.

Cabin and high-tech features
Customers will find more comfortable and modern features in the interior. Like the Honda City, it can be offered with a 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system. The 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats, which are currently available as accessories, will now be offered as factory-fitted (in-built) features. New upholstery and premium cabin trims will enhance the interior look.
Advanced security and ADAS Update
Honda's current Elevate gets features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and emergency braking under 'Honda Sensing'. However, the new facelift model is highly likely to offer a more advanced 'Level-2 ADAS' safety package like the Honda City.

Engine and Performance
No changes will be made to the engine. It will get the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as before, which generates 121 hp of power. This engine will come with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. It will not be offered a hybrid engine option.
Price and competition
The new Honda Elevate facelift is likely to be priced at Rs. Estimated to be between 11 lakhs and 17 lakhs (ex-showroom). In the market, it will compete directly with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Highrider, Maruti Victoris and Skoda Kushak.
