Team India will play 6 matches in September
Team India will play a total of 6 matches in the month of September, and all these matches will be organized in limited overs format. This means that the Indian team will not play a single test match this month. According to the September schedule, Team India first has to play a 3-match T20 series against Afghanistan in Delhi, which will start from September 13. After this, a 3-match ODI series will start between India and West Indies at the end of the month, the first 2 ODI matches of which will be played in the month of September only. Apart from this, the Indian team will also play its quarter-final match of Asian Games 2026 this month.
Many players including Shreyas Iyer will not be part of the ODI series against West Indies
