In an interview given to the media, Rahul Roy told that he and his brother have been facing a legal case related to about Rs 30 lakh for the last several years. Apart from this, he also talked about making a fresh start financially after transferring the property to his wife at the time of divorce. Rahul said that now he is trying to rebuild his life and career from scratch.
Career halted after stroke
Rahul Roy said, 'Now I am 60 years old and trying to build my empire.' He also remembered the years after his stroke. Rahul admitted that his career had almost come to a halt while he was recovering from the stroke. He said, 'The last five years were almost like a break because I was recovering. There was no work. If this had not happened, I would have done a lot more. But now, I am getting some work and I want to do more. I was happy to be back on the set and face the camera. I am very grateful to the people who have faith in me. In my 37 years of journey in films, I feel I have done some good work and now I am excited to do more work.
Reasons given for dancing at weddings
Apart from this, the actor also told the reason for dancing in weddings. Rahul says that he has very few work options, he is trying to sustain himself by dancing in weddings. He said, 'I have expenses and I need money. It was difficult to get work after the brain stroke in 2020. It's been five years since then and I was doing whatever I could to make things work. Sometimes, I earn Rs 2 lakh or Rs 4 lakh by dancing in weddings. People who troll me don't know that it's hard work. I also have to earn my living.
