But now the Central Government has given relief to the people using LPG (LPG Booking New Rules) and has changed some rules of cylinder booking. What was the big change?

The central government made a big change regarding LPG cylinder booking. The government has now reduced the time limit of 45 days to book the second cylinder for rural areas to 25 days. This means that now in rural areas, you will be able to book another cylinder only 25 days after taking one cylinder.

After this new change, now the same rule of 25 days has been implemented for gas booking in both urban and rural areas of the country. This will provide great relief to those families whose consumption is high and they have no other way to cook food.

Union Minister Suresh Gopi himself has shared this information on social media. He further wrote in the Facebook post, 'However, in view of the improvement in the current situation of LPG supply and significant reduction in refill backlog, the Central Government has relaxed this restriction. Now all domestic LPG customers in urban or rural areas can book refill at an interval of 25 days.

What was the rule earlier?

It is known that earlier in rural areas one had to wait for at least 45 days for second cylinder booking. Whereas in cities the second cylinder was booked only after 25 days. Due to this rule, many families in rural areas had to face problems.

Let us tell you that there is a situation of tension in the Middle East since February. Due to which there are clouds of crisis on LPG and petrol-diesel in the country. Due to shortage in supply, LPG prices increased in the country, booking rules changed. Apart from this, the government came out with many schemes to promote PNG.
