Punjab-UAE Economic Ties to Deepen as Aman Arora Holds Talks with RAK ​​Chamber Chairman

Punjab is looking to deepen its economic engagement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and attract greater investment from Ras Al Khaimah, with Industries and Commerce Minister Aman Arora holding high-level talks with Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman HE Mohamed Mosbeh Al Nuaimi in Dubai on Monday.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), where Arora presented Punjab as an emerging global hub for manufacturing, food processing and renewable energy.

Arora invited investors from Ras Al Khaimah to explore opportunities across Punjab, highlighting the state's strengths in manufacturing, food processing, agro-based industries, agriculture, renewable energy and other emerging sectors.

The minister said the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government was committed to building strong global partnerships and creating a seamless, investor-friendly business environment through proactive policy support, institutional facilitation and government-to-government cooperation.

The discussions focused on expanding investment and economic cooperation between Punjab and Ras Al Khaimah, with emphasis on strengthening institutional and business-to-business partnerships.

Al Nuaimi apprised Arora of emerging investment opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah and highlighted the scope for mutually beneficial partnerships between investors from Punjab and the UAE.

Both sides also discussed measures to strengthen economic linkages and create a robust ecosystem that could accelerate investment flows between Punjab and Ras Al Khaimah.
