Administration should provide financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the victim’s family – Soli Jain

Samajwadi Party’s national secretary, social worker Satendra Jain Souli, reached his residence on Monday after 57-year-old Vipin Bihari Sharma tragically died after being hit by a Hydra machine which was engaged in the work of the flyover being built up to the Additional Superintendent of Police city office in Firozabad, Suhag city. National Secretary of Samajwadi Party, social worker Satendra Jain Souli, State Secretary Mukesh Kumar alias Titu, Principal District Vice President Dr. Mujahid Khan, SP leader Mayank Yadav consoled the victim’s family.

On this occasion, the victim’s family told them that their father used to work as a watchman in a factory in Suhag Nagar. On September 4, he had gone from home for duty at around 7:00 pm. At around 8:00 pm, he received a call from the police saying that your father had died after being hit by a machine that was working on the bridge under construction at Jain Temple, Suhag Nagar intersection.

Sadar MLA Manish Asija had also reached the spot and had given assurance. That you perform the last rites of your father, we will provide you financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh now and later also, and will take strict action against the culprits, but despite the assurance, no help has been given till now, nor has any action been taken against the culprits.

On this occasion, national secretary of Samajwadi Party, social activist Satendra Jain Sauli raised questions and said that Sadar MLA Manish Asija should explain why despite giving assurance, financial assistance has not been given to the victim till now. And why action has not been taken yet against the culprits of the incident.

He said that how much more life will the flyover under construction at Jain Temple Suhag Nagar intersection take to life, this is the second incident in the last one month. Many incidents have happened before this also. In which many innocent people have been injured. And one has died. But due to political patronage, safety standards are being ignored. And people’s lives are being put in danger.

He said that the victim’s family should get a compensation of Rs 50 lakh and strict action should be taken against the culprits who ignored the safety standards.
