Steve Jobs’ story changed the direction of life
Anupriya Nagar has studied Economics from the University of Bath, Britain. During her studies, she was researching the life and thoughts of Steve Jobs in connection with an assignment.
During this research, he got information about Steve Jobs’s visit to India and his spiritual experiences related to Neem Karoli Baba. After this, Anupriya’s interest in the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba increased.
He did not limit this topic to reading only on the internet. His team did research for about a year and also visited many places associated with Baba. It was during this process that the idea of making a film started taking shape.
Invested three years’ earnings in the film
This was not a small decision for Anupriya. He worked part-time in Britain for about three years and decided to invest the money he saved from his earnings in film production.
His plan was to work in Zurich after completing his studies. However, in the year 2025, he decided to return to India and concentrate completely on the film project.
His aim was not just to make a film. She wanted to convey the story of Neem Karoli Baba and his spiritual legacy especially to the young audience.
The film made for around Rs 2 crores crossed the Rs 100 crore mark
‘Hanuman Ansh’ did not have a very strong start at the box office. The film’s earnings were relatively slow in the initial days, but the audience’s response gradually started turning in its favor.
The film benefited from good word of mouth from the audience and saw a steady increase in earnings. Made on a budget of around Rs 2 crore, the film made a box office collection of more than Rs 100 crore.
This is the reason why Anupriya’s first film is now not just a cinematic project but has become a topic of discussion among the films which achieve huge success in low budget.
