Patna. Monsoon has once again become active in Bihar. The Meteorological Department has today issued an alert indicating the possibility of rain in 19 districts of North Bihar. Especially in North-West Bihar the weather may be worse. During this period, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. At the same time, rainfall activities in South Bihar are expected to be relatively less.
Weather patterns changed in North Bihar
Today, there is a possibility of more rain activities in North-West, North-Central and surrounding areas. West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan (Siwan) and it may rain in Saran. Apart from this, rain alert has also been issued in Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Madhubani and Samastipur. There is a possibility of rain at some places in Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar in North-East Bihar. However, continuous rain is not expected throughout the day in these districts. There may be heavy rain for a short period in some areas.
Wind can blow at a speed of 40 KM, danger of falling
Weather activities may be most effective in North-West Bihar. There is a possibility of strong winds along with thunderstorms in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan and Saran. Local level thunderstorms may also occur in other parts of North Bihar. During bad weather, people have been advised to avoid going to open places and stay in safe places.
At present the intensity of rain is less in South Bihar
The probability of rain today is relatively less in many districts of South Bihar. Gaya, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad, Rohtas, Kaimur, Buxar and Bhojpur are expected to receive less rainfall compared to North Bihar. There will be less possibility of rain in southern parts of Patna also. However, due to the formation of monsoon clouds, light rain may occur at some places. At present no rain alert has been issued for these areas.
After the rain, there will be relief from humidity in North Bihar
Due to clouds and rain, the temperature is likely to remain under control in many districts of North Bihar. The weather may be pleasant for some time in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran and Muzaffarpur. After the rain, people are also expected to get relief from humidity. However, after the rain stops, humidity and humidity may increase again in some areas.
Temperature may remain between 29 to 34 degrees in Bihar
Today, the maximum temperature in most of the districts of the state is expected to be between 29 to 34 degrees Celsius. Temperature may remain below normal in rainy areas. At the same time, in south-west Bihar, in sunny conditions, heat and humidity may be felt more.
The rainy season may continue till September 12
According to IMD Patna Centre, monsoon is likely to be active in Bihar between September 8 and 12. Strong wind accompanied by thunderstorms may be the major weather activity over northwest Bihar on September 8. Even after this, light to moderate rain is expected to continue in many parts of the state. There may be rain with thunder at some places. The weather may remain relatively pleasant in North and North-East Bihar, while in South-West Bihar it may remain humid due to intermittent sunshine.
Appeal to be cautious during thunderstorms
The Meteorological Department has appealed to people to remain alert during rain and thunderstorms. It has been advised to avoid going to open places and not stand under trees during thunderstorms. Especially in case of strong wind and hailstorm, people have been advised to stay inside safe buildings.
