Dortmund’s Svensson eyed by Milan and Juventus

Milan and Juventus could go head-to-head in the January transfer window as both Serie A giants reportedly target Borussia Dortmund defender Daniel Svensson.

According to German outlet Fussballdaten.de, via CalcioMercato.it the Rossoneri and Bianconeri are ready to compete with Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United for the Swedish full-back.

Svensson is primarily a left-back but is also capable of operating in central defence, making the 24-year-old an attractive option for clubs looking to add versatility to their squads.

Dortmund open to Svensson sale for the right price

The Stockholm-born defender is reportedly valued at between €35 million and €45m by Dortmund, meaning any interested club would need to make a significant investment to secure his signature.

Neither Juventus nor Milan completely addressed their respective squad weaknesses during the summer transfer window, and both could return to the market in January.

Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti and Milan boss Ruben Amorim may therefore ask their respective directors to strengthen their squads midway through the season.

Svensson has previously been linked with a move to Italian football, and the latest reports suggest that interest could now turn into a four-way battle for his signature, with Arsenal and Manchester United also monitoring the Dortmund player.
