Asia Cup: Know who India will compete with?

Asia Cup 2026: Now only four teams are left in the race for the title in ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026. Bangladesh defeated UAE by 34 runs in their last match of the group stage and secured their place in the semi-finals. With this result, the complete lineup of the last 4 of the tournament has been decided. Bangladesh is the fourth team to reach the semi-finals. Earlier, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka had got tickets for the semi-finals.

The biggest reason for Bangladesh’s victory was its bowlers, who set a target of 104 runs for UAE and did not give the batsmen a chance to play freely throughout the innings. Batting first, Bangladesh scored only 21 runs after losing two wickets in the first 6 overs. However, the team gradually handled the innings and managed to reach 103 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

UAE, chasing a small target, had an even worse start. Bangladeshi bowlers took two wickets in the powerplay itself and UAE could score only 15 runs for 2 wickets after 6 overs. By the completion of 10 overs, the team’s score was 34 runs for 3 wickets. Even after this, Bangladesh did not let the pressure subside and kept UAE’s run rate in check while taking wickets continuously. UAE team could score only 69 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. In this way Bangladesh won the match by 34 runs and became the fourth team to reach the semi-finals.
