Ujjain Hanuman Mandir: Machines kneel before standing Hanuman! Statue not moved in 7 days even after installing JCB crane

An attempt was made to remove the statue of Hanuman temple standing for road widening under Simhastha in Ujjain, but neither JCB nor crane machines could remove the statue. Even after seven days of efforts the statue did not move from its place. There is resentment among Hindu organizations and devotees due to the attempt to forcibly remove the statue. Calling the statue miraculous, devotees are demanding that it be allowed to remain here. It is being told that this statue is about 1000 years old. What is the whole matter? Hanuman, who is standing within the scope of widening of Kanthal intersection and Chhatri Chowk road of Ujjain, is not ready to move from his place. The Municipal Corporation staff started shifting the statue from 11 pm on Thursday night, but till now no success has been achieved. The team of Archeology Department has also come for investigation but no solution could be found. After packing the statue in polythene to prevent any damage, the packing was opened again.

At present the statue is at its place. However, with the consent of the Hindu organization and the Pandit, the wall, dome and peak of the temple have been removed. At present, there is a crowd of devotees around the temple to see the miracle. Now the devotees say that when the statue is not being removed despite efforts, then why not let it remain here. Bhajans are going on near the temple. Long queues of devotees are saying that this is like a miracle. The statue has been present for 150 years. It is being told that the entire city has a faith-filled connection with the Hanuman temple that is standing more than 150 years old. It is being said that there will not be any Sanatani who would not have reached Baba’s door at least once in his lifetime. Devotees also come here for good health and to get rid of diseases. Devotees are worshiping in the evening. During the shifting of the idol of Hanumanji, the dome and walls of the temple have been broken. The surrounding area has been cleared. Everything was demolished, but the statue is still standing there. In the evening, Hanumanji is being worshiped as usual. A large number of devotees and workers of Hindu organizations are present during the Aarti. The work of removing the statue stopped. Area residents say that considering the sentiments of the people, Hanumanji should be shifted after the Mahakal ride. This is the reason why the work of shifting the statue was stopped. Mahakal ride has also ended, now the work will start again. This statue of Hanumanji standing on the ground is 8 feet high. To keep the statue standing without support, part of the statue has been placed on a rock. The rock is 4 to 5 feet underground. The surrounding excavation will be done again to remove the statue from the ground.
