UK airports Air traffic : There was chaos at many airports in Britain on Tuesday when hundreds of flights were canceled due to air traffic halt. Due to which passengers appeared troubled at many airports including London-Manchester. According to reports, Britain's air traffic control system suddenly malfunctioned. This created a stir at airports across the country. More than 350 flights were canceled at major airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick. Hundreds of flights were delayed by hours. Due to this, thousands of passengers were left stranded at the airports.

Britain's National Air Traffic Services (NATS) immediately put its engineers to work and after several hours of hard work fixed the system. However, even after the system was restored, it took a long time to improve the flight schedule and this had an impact on the air network across Europe.

Air Traffic Control i.e. ATC is the system that shows the right path to the planes flying in the air and prevents them from colliding with each other. Britain's National Air Traffic Services reported that there was a sudden technical failure in their flight processing system. Due to this fault, the data of arrival and departure of flights was not being processed properly.
