Iran-US War: Turmoil has once again increased in the Strait of Hormuz. Here cargo ships are being attacked from both sides. While America has blown up Iranian tankers, Iran has also attacked Jordan.
According to reports, amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and America, 5 crude oil tankers once again blew up in Hormuz. America claims that Iran was attempting to attack its warships when America attacked its tankers. Tension increased further after the American action. The IRGC claimed that it attacked a military base in Jordan where US troops are stationed.

On the other hand, IRGC naval units warned the crews of oil tankers near Kuwait and Bahrain. The crews were asked to abandon their ships and warned that ships in the area could be targeted. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has given a strong warning to Iran.
Rubio said that if Iran continues to try to attack US warships, the US will also continue military action against Iranian oil tankers. Due to this development the tension between America and Iran has increased significantly. This is also likely to affect oil supply and maritime trade in the Gulf region.
British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has warned that attacks on cargo ships on the Gulf's major sea routes are continuing, with many merchant vessels being seriously damaged and disabled. According to an advisory from UKMTO, 'Disabling Fire' has been targeted at these ships as part of the ongoing military activities in the North Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman. Due to increasing attacks in this region, a big crisis is looming on International Shipping and Trade Security.
