Congress MLA Abhay Mishra, who is involved in the ongoing movement against the hospital arrangements, has made very serious allegations regarding the mortuary. One of his videos is going viral on social media, in which he claimed that objectionable acts are done to the dead bodies of beautiful women during post-mortem. However, these allegations have not been independently confirmed and there has been no response from the administration in this regard.
Statement came amid agitation against hospital arrangements
According to the report, there is already protest going on regarding the arrangements at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. MLA Abhay Mishra, who participated in this movement, made this allegation while raising questions on the arrangement of the mortuary. He said that after the death of a woman, when the body is kept in the mortuary for post-mortem, the family members wait outside and according to him, during this time, wrongful acts are done with the dead body.
