While hearing this case, the Supreme Court had stayed the arrest of Sumit Roy on August 6 and directed him to cooperate in the investigation. But the apex court today rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Sumit Roy and also withdrew its order staying the arrest. As soon as the decision of the apex court came, the CID team became active and took Sumit Roy into custody.
