Now Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has also appealed to him for help. The actress has shared a video on social media and complained about finding small insects inside the liquid protein product.
Small insects seen in new pack
Bipasha Basu posted a video on her Instagram story on September 10. In the video, he told that he had opened a new box of the product, but small insects were seen inside it.
The actress tagged Tukaram Munde in her post and expressed hope of his help in the matter. Bipasha wrote, “Tukaram Munde, you are the only hope, so that whatever we buy, it should not be spoiled, there should be no adulteration of any kind in it.”
After this complaint of Bipasha, once again questions are being raised regarding the quality and packaging of food items.
Shweta Tiwari had also complained
This is not the first time that a celebrity has tagged Tukaram Munde and complained about food safety. Earlier, TV actress Shweta Tiwari had also tagged him on social media and demanded action in a case related to a quick-commerce app.
Shweta had claimed that she had ordered a cold drink online, but the cockroach also reached her house along with it. Through a social media post, he had appealed to Tukaram Munde to pay attention to this matter.
Tukaram Munde is strict regarding food safety
Tukaram Munde has been in the news for his continuous action in Maharashtra FDA on matters related to food safety and hygiene. Due to his action on matters related to food adulteration or violation of rules, his name remains in the headlines on social media also.
Tukaram Munde's name also appeared in a social media post of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to reports, Salman, while referring to one of his friend's cafes, had jokingly talked about taking care of hygiene and had written that if this was not done, he would “send her away.”
Now after Bipasha Basu's complaint, it remains to be seen what action is taken by Maharashtra FDA in this matter and whether investigation is done regarding the related product or not.
