The Indian women’s team is now just one win away from a place in the finals, having enjoyed a strong run of form with three straight wins in the group stage of the ACC Asia Cup 2026. India will face Bangladesh in the first semi-final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. No changes have been made to the playing eleven for both the teams.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team won all three matches to top Group A with six points, while Bangladesh finished second in Group B. India defeated Thailand, Hong Kong and Pakistan in the group stage. With wins in all three matches, the team qualified for the semi-finals and now has its sights set on the title match.
On the other hand, Bangladesh started the tournament with a huge 71-run win against Indonesia. However, they suffered a four-wicket defeat against Sri Lanka in their second match. Bangladesh then made a brilliant comeback by defending just 103 runs against UAE in a thrilling encounter. Bangladesh scored 103 runs in 20 overs, but UAE could manage only 69 runs for 9 wickets. With the win, Bangladesh finished second in Group B and qualified for the semi-finals.
