Ken McCollum, head of Britain's intelligence agency MI5, warned the world on the 25th anniversary of America's World Trade Center. He claims that the blueprint for terrorist attacks like 9/11 has already been prepared. Attacks can happen anywhere where the goons are not watching. Not only that, McCollum warned the world about al-Qaeda, claiming that although al-Qaeda is weak, they still have the ability to carry out major attacks.
In a column in 'The Independent', McCollum wrote, 'It is important that we learn from the 2001 attacks. But future threats cannot be avoided by analyzing past attacks alone. It is not known in advance where the next big attack will happen, how it will happen, what technology will be used. As a result, intelligence agencies have to be alert to old incidents as well as keep an eye on the risk of new types of attacks. Who can say, the militants may have already prepared an attack table somewhere.'
According to McCollum, 'It is important that we learn from the 2001 attacks. But it is not possible to avoid future dangers only by analyzing past attacks.'
McCollum said, 'No one knows where in the world an attack like 9/11 will occur. It may come from a place where the detectives don't have special attention.' He also claimed, 'Militant organizations like Al-Qaeda have weakened, but their power has not ended. This terrorist organization still has the ability to carry out major attacks. A plot to carry out a horrific terrorist attack on hundreds of Jews in Manchester was foiled recently. This incident proves that the militants are preparing their plans. But attacks are not just coming from militant groups, state-sponsored sabotage, attacks by criminals and cyberattacks on power plants are on the rise, Britain's intelligence chief said.
Note that on September 11, 2001, the worst terrorist attack in the history of the world took place in America. Two consecutive planes crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York. Another attack was on the Twin Towers in Washington. The fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. At least 3000 people died in this terrible attack. 19 Al-Qaeda members hijacked 4 planes and carried out the attack. Osama Bin Laden was behind the whole attack. This attack is not only America, but the security of the whole world is under question.
