Under Mr. Gref’s leadership, the Council is expected to undergo restructuring, while business relations between Russia and India are set to reach a new technological and institutional level. Plans are in place to strengthen the Council’s role in fostering bilateral business ties and expanding the participation of Russian and Indian businesses, ranging from major corporations, state-owned entities, and financial institutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
The Council is set to establish specialized industry committees and elevate the level of Russian-Indian business events, such as by hosting an annual business forum attended by governments and businesses of both nations.
