Solapur : Kuchan Prashala, Solapur has participated in the ongoing 34th Junior State Fencing Championship 2026 at Amravati and brought the name of the prashala to the state level. Akshay Kumar Pitta, Shweta Vidap and Gandham Tulsi showcased their sportsmanship in this prestigious tournament.Dr. from Amravati. This state level competition has been organized in Babasaheb Ambedkar College from 11th to 13th September 2026. Young fencers from various districts of Maharashtra have participated in this competition. Therefore, the players of Kuchan School have got an opportunity to try their skills with the talented players of the state.

Akshay Kumar Pitta participated in the AP category of fencing, while Shweta Vidap and Gandham Tulsi participated in the foil category. Fencing requires quick attack and equally agile defense while accurately anticipating the opponent's movements. Hence consistent practice, physical fitness, concentration and mental preparation are important for this sport.
