World Championship of Legends (WCL) is set to witness new chapters as the third season kicks off in the United Arab Emirates, featuring a host of former global stars set to return to competitive cricket. Yuvraj Singh, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and David Warner are among the big names expected to headline the tournament.
The WCL has released the full schedule for its third season, which will be held in Dubai and Sharjah from October 3 to 18. This edition of the WCL will be a milestone for the league as it will be the first time the WCL season will be held outside the UK, after its first two editions were held in England.

The tournament will see the participation of former international stars from the India Champions, Pakistan Champions, Australia Champions, England Champions, South Africa Champions, West Indies Champions and Bangladesh Champions.
One of the major attractions of the season is going to be the India Champions vs Pakistan Champions clash, which is expected to reignite one of cricket's most iconic rivalries once again with several former stars from both nations.
Besides, the fans can also look forward to a series of other high-profile contests featuring some of the biggest names from international cricket's recent past. Yuvraj Singh, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, David Warner, Moeen Ali and Mahmudullah Riyad are some of the prominent players who are expected to feature in the third season.
The WCL will head to the UAE after reportedly attracting a global audience of 425 million viewers during the second season. With a lot of nostalgia, star power and rivalries, the league will be looking to build on that momentum from the next destination.

Harshit Tomar, Founder and CEO of the World Championship of Legends, said that season 3 will focus on bringing the biggest rivalries and biggest legends back together.

Taking WCL to the UAE means this season is set to be something very special, and we can't wait to give fans a month of world-class cricket and entertainment,” Tomar said.
WCL Co-Owner Ajay Devgn also talked about the focus of the league on nostalgia and entertainment which it looks forward to delivering with the next season ahead of its new season.
“WCL is more than just a cricket league – it is emotion, nostalgia and entertainment coming together on one platform. Season 3 is going to be our boldest season yet and we can't wait for it to kick off,” Devgn said.
With the fixtures now confirmed, WCL Season 3 promises to give the fans another opportunity to witness some of the most recognizable former international stars back on the cricket field.
