Alia Bhatt’s presence at the trailer launch of Don’t Be Shy wasn’t the only moment making headlines, as her bodyguard’s heated altercation with a fan outside the venue also caught attention.
On Friday, September 11, a video of an exchange between the 33-year-old actress’s security personnel and an excited fan went viral as she made her way out after the event, sparking criticism on social media.
In the viral footage, Alia can be seen walking out of the venue as fans waited around her. One fan appeared to move closer to her while trying to get a selfie with the Bollywood sensation, leading her bodyguard to push him back. He later made another attempt to approach her but was stopped again.
Despite the exchange, the Student of the Year star continued posing for photos with fans without appearing to react to the incident.

Shortly after the clip took over the internet, netizens came forward and expressed that they did not like the incident.
“Why people are obsessed to have photo with these so called movie hero heroine, why they need pic,” one wrote.
Another pointed out how fans contribute to a star’s popularity, commenting, “Celebriy bhi fan base hei fan nahi toh cleebry kuch nhi.”
“She has fans really?” a third user questioned.
