In Lucknow, a divorced woman has filed a case against Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami's brother Mohammed Kaif, accusing him of sexual exploitation. The woman alleges that Kaif sexually exploited her for about six years by promising her marriage. The woman said that Kaif called her to the hotel and raped her.

According to the woman's allegations, after this Kaif took her to different places and hotels and exploited her.
The woman told in her complaint that on the request of Kaif, she had gone to Kolkata on 9 September 2023. There Kaif kept her in a hotel and sexually exploited her on the pretext of marriage. Even after this, he kept postponing the talk of marriage for about two months. The woman alleges that during this period, Kaif took her to many other places and hotels and she was exploited there too.
What did Kaif do when pressured to marry?
According to the complaint, when the woman pressurized Kaif for marriage, he said that he would marry her after the IPL auction to be held in December 2025. The woman says that even after the IPL auction took place, Kaif did not get married. When he again protested against this, Kaif called him for talks.
According to the woman, when she reached for the conversation, Kaif, his brother Haseeb and some family members were also present there. The woman alleges that she was threatened there and was flatly refused to marry. After this she came back to Lucknow and started living at her house in Ashiana area.

When Kaif came to know about this, he called the woman to meet. According to the woman, Kaif consoled her and pressurized her to remove her byte from the podcast. He reportedly said that he would marry her after Byte was removed from the podcast.
The woman alleges that by trusting Kaif's words, she got her byte removed from the podcast. But after the byte was removed, Kaif again refused to marry. After this the woman complained to the police and demanded action.
