Aston Martin, famous for its luxury cars, has finally taken another big step into the motorcycle world. The company has introduced the AMB 002 Roadster, a collaboration with Brough Superior. It is the first road-legal motorcycle produced in collaboration with Aston Martin. The earlier AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro were made for the track only.
Carbon fiber and titanium construction
The design of the AMB 002 Roadster clearly shows glimpses of Aston Martin's car design. A large amount of carbon fiber has been used in the bodywork of the bike. It also features a titanium chassis machined from a single metal block and weighs only 5 kg. Due to the lightweight construction, the weight of the bike is 190 kg and 50:50 weight distribution has been achieved.

1,083cc V-Twin engine
The bike gets a new 1,083cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. This engine produces 130 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque. The engine has been tuned to deliver strong torque especially at low and medium RPM. So this bike is not only designed for speed, but also for smooth and controlled riding on the road.
Special suspension and limited production
The AMB 002 features Brough Superior's double-wishbone Fior front suspension. Its main purpose is to increase cornering stability by reducing the dive of the front end during braking. The design of the bike also uses Aston Martin's side-streak and tail-light design inspired by hypercars.
