Former India captain Rohit Sharma is set to make his TV debut on 19th September. The 39-year-old is the host of “Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’ scheduled to be telecast on Sony TV. The channel has released a few promos of the show, with one showing former India batting coach Abhishek revealing a hilarious incident involving his former teammate.
The 43-year-old said, “You all know Rohit’s nature and his stories of forgetting things. Let me tell you where it started, and it began with cricket only. Now you are a young player and have been selected to play for the Mumbai Ranji Trophy teaM. It was a big match, and there were many big players in the side. That’s when our dear friend, aged 17, was selected to play.”
“On the day of the game, he came to the stadium without his kit bag.” The crowd present at the event couldn’t stop laughing. “The story doesn’t end here. He was very smart even back then. When Rohit was asked about his kit bag, he said to the coach that the kit bag had fallen while he was on the train because someone had pushed him. This is not a story. It is a true incident.”
Rohit's plans, kitbag's plans… different different ???

Rohit countered it and said: “Nothing like that, and I just told the coach whatever had happened on that day.” The episode is also set to feature Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakurwho have shared the dressing room with Rohit not just for India but also for Mumbai in domestic cricket.
All eyes on team selection for West Indies series
The Men in Blue will be playing the ODI series next against West Indies, which starts in just two weeks. Shubman Gill will lead the side, and there could be some tough choices for the selectors to make, considering some of the regular members of the side will be away for the Asian Games in Japan.
Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja could be recalled to the side for the three-match ODI series. Both players were originally not in the selectors’ plans for the ODI format. In Jadeja’s case, it was felt the 37-year-old wasn’t in the scheme of things for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
It will be an important series for Rohit, after constant questions about his future. The veteran star himself threw a curveball during a recent event in Mumbai, when he was asked by a fan about playing the next World Cup. “October is far away, and we will see about it,” he said.
