Azad Samaj Party: Actually, Chandrashekhar Azad was going to meet the family members of Dalit leader Vinod Sahni in Gonda. Meanwhile, his convoy was pelted with stones in Burhwal-Ramnagar area. According to the information, about 12 workers have been injured in this incident, one worker was attacked on the head with a sharp weapon while the other worker suffered serious eye injury. Many vehicles in the convoy were also damaged. After the incident, Chandrashekhar Azad reached Barabanki SP office with the complaint. Here he has also raised serious questions on the policemen and demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire matter.

According to Chandrashekhar, Vinod Sahni wanted to contest elections from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat from his party. He claimed that he was murdered by the same people who had political grudges against him. He clearly warned that if action is not taken then Azad Samaj Party will agitate. After this the matter became more heated. Hundreds of Bhim Army workers reached the SP office. The workers surrounded the office, raised slogans and demanded action against those who pelted stones at the convoy.
