Actually, BJP is continuously brainstorming about the 2027 elections in UP. While repeating the 2022 victory is a big challenge for the party, emphasis is being laid on strengthening the organization and electoral strategy after the decline in performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also continuously visiting different parts of the state and the work of the government is being conveyed to the people through development projects. Regarding UCC, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also said that the target is to implement Uniform Civil Code before 2029 in all the 21 states under NDA government.
However, it is not yet clear whether any final decision has been taken regarding the implementation of UCC in UP or not.
