Rajasthan News: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has performed brilliantly in the results of municipal elections in Rajasthan. After the election results came out, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed gratitude to the people and party workers of Rajasthan, calling it a historic victory. The Chief Minister said that the public has expressed confidence in the work done by the BJP government of the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last two and a half years.

BJP won more than 4 thousand wards

Elections were held in two phases for 309 urban bodies in Rajasthan. In the results revealed, BJP has won in more than 4 thousand wards, while Congress has got success in more than 3,400 wards. Of the 252 municipalities, BJP won 144, Congress 92 and independent candidates 16. Of the 47 municipal councils, BJP won 21, Congress 17 and independents 9.

BJP's performance was strong in the results of 10 municipal corporations also. The party won in five municipal corporations, while the Congress got success in one municipal corporation. No party got a clear majority in the four municipal corporations.

People expressed confidence in development and good governance

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the result of the civic elections shows the public's faith in the work done by the government in the last two and a half years. He said that the people of the state have accepted the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the vision of developed India and developed Rajasthan.

The CM also appreciated the hard work of the party workers. He said that the government has continuously worked towards fulfilling the promises made to the public and development, public welfare and upliftment of the poor were given priority in the manifesto released for the local body elections.

Chief Minister also said a big thing on youth

Bhajanlal Sharma said that the youth of Rajasthan have once again expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that youth also have an important role in taking the government's schemes and development works to the public. The Chief Minister claimed that the government has fulfilled 78 percent of its promises in the last two and a half years.

Expressed confidence regarding Panchayat elections also

After the victory in the civic elections, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also expressed confidence about the upcoming Panchayat elections. He said that BJP is expected to get a bigger majority in the Panchayat elections than in the civic elections. He further appealed to the workers to get involved in organization and election preparations with full force.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the issue of 'One State-One Election'. He said that frequent elections put pressure on government funds and administrative resources. Holding elections simultaneously will reduce expenses and development works will also gain momentum.

These results of Rajasthan civic elections are being considered an important political achievement for BJP. Now, with the enthusiasm of these results, the party can move forward in preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections.
