UP Cabinet Meeting: The cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 23 important proposals were approved in this cabinet meeting. In the meeting, other important proposals including establishment of ethanol plant in Chhata, new university in Aligarh were approved.

The Chief Minister gave gifts to PRD soldiers in the cabinet meeting. The proposal to increase the honorarium of PRD soldiers has been approved. The duty allowance of PRD soldiers was increased from Rs 500 to Rs 600 per day. Under the Chief Minister Cashless Scheme, a decision has been taken to provide the benefit of cashless facility to PRD soldiers and their families. Annual expenditure will be Rs 9,34 crore per year. At the rate of premium of Rs 3000. The facility will be available to those who have done duty for at least three months in a financial year. They will get free treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh.
Along with this, the cabinet has also approved setting up of ethanol plant in Chhata, Mathura. In this plant, which will be built at a cost of about Rs 200 crore, ethanol will be prepared from sugarcane along with corn and paddy. Its annual production capacity will be 3.96 crore litres. It will be developed as an extension plant and will operate for about 11 months in a year.
At the same time, a letter of intent has been issued to the new private university Sai Global in Sarsaul village of Tehsil Kol of Aligarh. Om Sai Seva Samiti is its sponsoring organization. Also, taking and giving house on rent in UP will become easier. The stamp duty was four times the circle rate. But now only Rs 1000 will be stamped. For example, if the fare is up to Rs 2 lakh, now instead of Rs 32 thousand it will cost only Rs 1,000. Three slabs of one thousand, two thousand and four thousand have been made. More than 90 percent stamp exemption has been given.
The Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Home Department to transfer about 65 acres of land free of cost in favor of the Home Ministry for the Regional Hub of National Security Guards in Ayodhya. The state government has already given land for the NSG hub.

In the recent proposal of the Home Department, it was also recommended to transfer 26 hectares (about 65 acres) of barren land in village Puri Lalkhan of Milkipur tehsil in favor of the Home Ministry, which has been approved by the Cabinet.
