New Delhi. India has reacted and reprimanded Pakistan's announcement of a reward of Rs 70 lakh on the leader of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed Masood Azhar. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has termed this move of Pakistan as an eyesore. He said that we have seen such actions of Pakistan many times before. Pakistan itself knows where the people are and it should take action. Nothing is going to be achieved by such meaningless show-offs.
Jaiswal said that I would just say that such tactics of Pakistan and attempts to mislead people are nothing new. We all know how hollow it is to make such a showy announcement about a country promoting terrorism. They should actually take action, not make flowery announcements that mean nothing. Let us tell you that the annual meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is going to be held in October. Pakistan does not want him to be put in the gray list again, that is why it made a move to show it to the world and kept a reward of Rs 70 lakh in the name of Masood Azhar.
Pakistan continues to claim that Masood is in Afghanistan. Whereas Afghanistan has recently rejected this claim of Pakistan. A senior official of Afghanistan's Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Masood Azhar is not in his country. Afghanistan also said that it will not allow its land to be used against any other country.
Also replied on Zakir Naik's extradition
In response to a question on the issue of fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, we have been raising this issue with the Malaysian side at different levels, talks are going on. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has also confirmed that the issue of Naik's extradition was also discussed in the discussions with India during the 18th BRICS summit held in Delhi.
