On September 17, 2026, Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Faridabad Member of Parliament Krishan Pal Gurjar will distribute electric scooties to Divyangjans as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency. The event is scheduled to take place at 10:30 am in Faridabad, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
This initiative, described as the first large-scale effort to provide electric scooties to Divyangjans in Faridabad, aims to enhance their mobility and support their self-reliance. Beneficiaries have been informed about the programme.
Addressing the initiative, the Union Minister stated, “PM Modi has dedicated his life to the spirit of service and Antyodaya. His birthday is being celebrated not just as an occasion but as a resolve to bring positive change in the lives of the needy and deprived sections of society.”
He further explained that through the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, efforts are being made to extend the benefits of development and public service to every section of society. Various public service and welfare programs will continue throughout the month under this campaign.
