- This Seva Bike Yatra will pass through 193 districts and 1,159 villages of 10 states and will cover a distance of approximately 40,000 kilometers.

Gandhinagar, September 15, 2026 – 'Vadnagar to Varanasi' and 'Varanasi to Vadnagar' Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra have been organized under the nationwide 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party from 17 September to 17 October. Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra is also included in the various programs being organized by the party on the occasion of completion of 25 years of service and dedication of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi as Prime Minister of the country and Chief Minister of Gujarat.
In this regard, BJP Lok Sabha MP and National Incharge of the Yatra, Shri V., addressing the press conference at Sri Kamalam today. D. Sharma had said that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi is completing 25 years of public life on October 7. A hard-working person, in his journey from an ordinary worker to the Chief Minister and then to the Prime Minister of the country, has worked to give a new direction to the country by making continuous service and nation building his life's resolution. With the aim of spreading the inspiration of this 25 years of continuous Seva Yatra to the youth of the country, this Bike Seva Yatra has been organized with the participation of youth from across the country including BJP and Yuva Morcha. This yatra, which started on 17th September, will conclude on 7th October.

He had said that Vadnagar is the beginning and birthplace of the Prime Minister's life journey, while Varanasi is his workplace. This Yatra will start from both the birthplace and Karmabhoomi in two directions simultaneously and will conclude on 7th October. The yatra starting from Vadnagar will reach Varanasi after passing through various areas of the country and the yatra starting from Varanasi will also move towards Vadnagar. This huge bike yatra organized by the youth in the history of India will pass through 193 districts and 1,159 villages of 10 states and will cover a distance of approximately 40,000 kilometers.
The Yatra will start from Vadnagar in 10 different groups and each group will have 25 service passengers, making a total of 250 service passengers. Similarly, 250 Seva Yatris in 10 groups will start the journey from Kashi. Approximately 1,000 youth will participate in this yatra which will start from both directions across the country. Before starting the Yatra from Kashi, sacred water will be collected from various rivers and water sources around Kashi and Jalabhishek of Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev will be performed and then the Yatra will start with Jal Kalash.
During the yatra, a pledge will be taken to plant 25 trees every day at the departure point. Various service programs including cleanliness campaign, drug-free India campaign, TB-free India campaign, plastic-free India campaign and water conservation will be organized. Sanitation workers will be respected. In the villages and areas where the Yatra will reach, various service activities will be started by BJP, Yuva Morcha, local youth and social organizations two days before its arrival and the Yatra will be welcomed with service.
State Incharge and State General Secretary of Bike Seva Yatra, Dr. Prashantbhai Korate had said that, before leaving Vadnagar for Gujarat Yatra, From September 13, sub-trips to Vadnagar have also started from four different zones. In Gujarat, under the guidance of BJP State President Shri Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, State Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harshbhai Sanghvi, various programs have been organized in connection with the Upayatra from the state's Chareya zone. The Upayatra of Saurashtra zone has started from the holy shrine of Somnath Mahadev, of North zone from Shamlaji, of Central zone from Mahakali Mataji temple at Pavagadh and of South zone from Unai Mataji temple of Navsari. These Chareya Upayatras Ta. Will reach Vadnagar by the night of 16th September.
