The makers of Ramayana: Part 1 had begun the film’s musical campaign by sharing its first Siya Ram poster on Ganesh Chaturthi 2026. The poster featured actor Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and actress Sai Pallavi as Sita ahead of the release of the song Jai Jai Ram.
The image showed Ram and Sita sitting together near a river in a forest. Ram was seen placing a flower in Sita’s hair while both characters appeared in traditional clothing.
The makers shared the poster on social media with the message, “Celebrating the timeless bond of Siya Ram.”
The poster was released ahead of Jai Jai Ram, which had been composed by AR Rahman. Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal had provided the vocals, while the lyrics had been written by poet and writer Dr Kumar Vishwas.
The song marked the beginning of the film’s musical rollout. The makers had planned to present the story of Ram and Sita through the upcoming film.
Ramayana: Part 1 had been directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
The first part had been scheduled for a theatrical release during Diwali 2026. Ramayana: Part 2 had been scheduled to arrive in cinemas during Diwali 2027
