After the end of the T20 series against Afghanistan, India is now going to face West Indies. For this the West Indies team will visit India. On this tour, a series of three ODI and five T20 matches will be played between the two teams. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India for both these series. Once again Rishabh Pant has not got a place in the ODI team, while Hardik Pandya has also not been included in the T20 team. At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja and Yashasvi Jaiswal have returned to the ODI team.
BCCI has also announced the Rest of India team in its press release. The captaincy of this team has been handed over to Rishabh Pant. Apart from this, BCCI has also informed about the changes made in the Indian team for the Asian Games to be held in Japan. Varun Chakraborty is no longer a part of the team and Vipraj Nigam has been included in his place. At the same time, Nitish Kumar Reddy has also been dropped from the Asian Games team.

india vs west indies schedule
- ODI Schedule: The first ODI match between India and West Indies will be played on 27 September in Thiruvananthapuram. After this, the second match will be held in Guwahati on 30 September. Whereas, the third ODI will be played on October 3 in New Chandigarh. All three matches will start at 2 pm.
- T20 schedule: The first T20 match between India and West Indies will be played on 6 October in Lucknow. After this, the second T20 match will be held in Ranchi on 9 October. The third match will be played in Indore on 11 October. Whereas, the fourth T20 match will be held in Hyderabad on 14 October. The fifth and last T20 match of the series will be played in Bengaluru on 17 October. All five matches of the series will start at 7 pm.
