On the complaint of the woman, the Kotwali police has registered a case against Rajan Rizvi. The woman has also made allegations of stalking, sending objectionable messages by obtaining personal mobile number and conducting recce around the house. After the case was registered, SP State President Mohammad Shakeel Nadvi removed Rajan Rizvi from the post.

In the application given to the police, a woman working in a bank located at State Bank Square alleged that Rajan Rizvi used to come posing as a bank customer. He had been trying to be around her and make her uncomfortable for a long time. According to the woman, through some means Rajan Rizvi obtained her personal mobile number and started contacting her. There has also been an allegation of creating mental pressure by threatening to remove the CDR in case of protest.

The woman alleged that Rajan Rizvi also clicked photographs of her and her vehicle. There were reports of suspicious activities being seen around his family residence during the night. It is alleged that efforts were made to gather information about the activities of the family from the security personnel and the cook. The woman's husband works in the forest department. The victim expressed apprehension that confidential information related to her husband's movements was being collected through private security resources, which could be used in some conspiracy against her.

Police registered a case

CO City Aashna Chaudhary said that the female bank employee had given a complaint application in the Kotwali police station. In this, bank customer Rajan Rizvi has been accused of continuously harassing him, getting his personal mobile number and sending objectionable messages, stalking and doing recce around the house. A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. Necessary legal action is being taken in the matter.

The party removed him from the post

After the case was registered, SP State President Mohammad Shakeel Nadvi removed Rajan Rizvi from the post of State General Secretary. The police are now investigating the case on the basis of the allegations made in the woman's complaint and the available evidence.
